Sudhir, born Shah Zaman Khan Afridi on January 25, 1921, in Lahore, was a prominent figure in Urdu and Punjabi cinema, captivating audiences for over four decades. His film career began with "Farz" in 1947, but it was the groundbreaking "Dupatta" (1952) that solidified his status as a leading actor. Collectors highly value his performances in "Thah" (1972) and "Chheen Lay Azadi" (1968), with the former being a standout for its cultural impact and the latter showcasing his versatility during a transformative era in Pakistani cinema. Known affectionately as Lala Sudhir, he became synonymous with action-packed roles, especially in "Baghi" (1956), which further cemented his legacy as an action hero.
