So, '1920' - it’s a pretty intriguing horror flick from 2008. Set in India, it dives into the depths of the supernatural with a husband who’s ditched his family and faith. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the pacing does a nice job of building tension without overstaying its welcome. The practical effects really stand out; they give that raw, unsettling vibe that CGI often misses. The performances are a mixed bag, but they do capture the struggle between love and possession. The film plays with themes of spiritual conflict, which is always interesting. Not your cookie-cutter ghost story, that’s for sure.
Interesting approach to possession narratives.Strong practical effects enhance the horror. The exploration of faith adds depth to the story.
