So, '8 Assassins' is kind of an interesting watch. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but it really captures that gritty desert vibe. The outlaws, especially the lead, have this rawness to their performances that gives it a grounded feel, if you know what I mean. The themes of heroism and redemption are woven through, especially when our thief meets the tribal chief. Their dynamic kind of drives the film forward. The practical effects are decent, adding that old-school charm that some newer films lack. Not a heavyweight by any means, but there's something about its rough edges that makes it stand out.
