So, 'A Piece of Sky' is one of those gems that doesn't reveal all its layers right away. The story of Torik, a shy orphan trying to navigate life in a small village, is both sweet and a bit heartbreaking. It has this subtle humor woven into the drama that keeps it from being too heavy. The pacing can feel a bit slow at times, but it allows you to really soak in the atmosphere of the village and Torik's struggles. The romance with Anjel is tender but fraught with societal disapproval, definitely a push and pull that adds to the tension. There’s not a lot of flashy effects, but the performances really ground it, creating a relatable, intimate vibe. It's an interesting watch, for sure.
