Aalroopangal is an interesting exploration of how a sudden hartal can ripple through the lives of everyday folks. Nandu, playing a roadside food vendor, captures the struggle and resilience of the common man with a laid-back yet poignant performance. The film has this raw, almost documentary-like feel that makes you really sit with the characters and their dilemmas. The pacing is deliberate, allowing moments of reflection amidst the chaos of the hartal. You see the street life, the hustle and bustle, and how quickly it can all shift. It's not flashy, but there’s a sincerity in the way it portrays the fallout from political decisions on personal lives. It definitely has a distinctive charm.
