Abnormis is one of those underground horror films that sticks with you, not for the reasons you might expect. The tone is unsettling from the start, juxtaposing mundane shopping with unspeakable horror. It's grim, perhaps a bit too grim for some, but the practical effects really stand out in their rawness. The pacing draws you in, almost lulling you into a false sense of security before the nightmare unfolds. Eva's portrayal is haunting; you truly feel her suffering. There's a certain distinctive quality to its bleakness that makes it hard to shake off. It's not the most polished production, but there's a strange authenticity in its brutality that some collectors appreciate.
Deeply unsettling narrative that lingers.Interesting use of practical effects enhances realism.A unique take on horror tropes, albeit very bleak.
