So, 'Addicted' is quite the intriguing piece from 2002. The atmosphere really draws you in—it's heavy with this sense of melancholy and mystery right from the start. Two brothers in a tragic accident and both in comas? That alone sets up a really interesting premise. What’s fascinating is the younger brother, Dae-jin, waking up and believing he’s his older brother Ho-jin. It adds layers to the narrative, exploring themes of identity and loss. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but that kind of mirrors the disorientation of the characters. Performances are solid, especially in portraying the complex emotions involved. Practical effects aren't really the focus, but that adds to the rawness of the story. It's distinctive for sure, just a different take on family and memory.
