Ain't Got Time to Die is an interesting take on personal trauma and mortality, wrapped in a documentary format. The film follows Rachel Heisham, who relocates to Montana with dreams of RV living, only to face a terminal cancer diagnosis that drags her back to reckon with her past. The tone is raw, almost intimate, and it feels like you’re eavesdropping on her journey. There's a slow pacing that allows you to really sit with her emotions, which might not be for everyone but certainly gives it a distinct flavor. The filmmaker’s involvement adds layers, almost blurring the lines of observer and participant, which creates a unique dynamic. Performances feel very genuine, making the whole experience feel personal and reflective.
