All of Us Strangers is a quietly haunting film. Haigh's direction captures this almost dreamlike tone, where the lines between reality and memory blur. The performances, especially from Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, are striking—so much depth in their interactions. The atmosphere feels intimately claustrophobic yet expansive, reflecting Adam's emotional landscape. I found the pacing to be deliberately slow, drawing you into its ethereal warmth while also highlighting the loneliness of urban life. The practical effects used for some of the fantastical elements were refreshing, grounding the film despite its dreamlike quality. It’s a unique take on love and loss, and the way it handles nostalgia is both tender and unsettling.
