All the Colours of the Dark is a fascinating blend of horror and psychological thriller that really leans into that unsettling atmosphere. Directed by Sergio Martino, the film explores themes of trauma and reality blurring into nightmares, which is pretty compelling. I mean, Jane’s descent into madness feels so palpable, thanks to the effective use of practical effects and a haunting score that really pulls you in. The pacing is interesting too; it starts slow, but the tension builds in a way that keeps you guessing. The visuals are striking, with that distinct giallo flair—colors popping against the dark narrative. It’s definitely got a vibe that sticks with you long after the credits roll.
Giallo elements shine through.Strong lead performance by Edwige Fenech.Notable for its surreal dream sequences.
