All the Fear of the Fair really taps into that eerie atmosphere surrounding abandoned places. It begins with this tragic roller-coaster accident, and you can feel the weight of that loss throughout. The pacing is interesting—slow burn at first, building tension as the fairground becomes a character in itself. The owner’s quest to create a youth club from the remnants is a nice touch, but then you’ve got the shady property developer who brings a different kind of fear. The practical effects are decent, definitely not over-the-top, but they work well with the suspense. The performances, while not always stellar, do bring a certain rawness to the unfolding chaos. It’s a niche horror film, but there’s something kind of haunting about it, you know?
