It’s paced quite deliberately, building up to those explosive moments without feeling rushed. The performances are raw; you can feel the weight of his choices. There’s this underlying theme of loyalty and the uncompromising nature of revenge that runs through it all. Practical effects are used here, so those action scenes have a nice, visceral impact that CGI just can’t replicate. Definitely stands out in the genre, if you ask me.
