Anjathe is an interesting take on friendship and transformation, really. You've got Sathya, who’s this wild card, always getting into trouble with his drinking and brawls. Then there's Kiruba, the diligent one, aiming for a respectable role as a Sub-Inspector. But the twist? Sathya ends up taking that role. The film dives deep into themes of redemption and the gray areas of morality, which is pretty engaging. The pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, especially during the action sequences, but it adds to the gritty atmosphere. Practical effects are used effectively, and the performances—especially from the leads—bring a raw authenticity that you don't always see. It’s distinctive for its exploration of how their friendship shifts when power dynamics change.
