So, this one is a live recording featuring Anne-Sophie Mutter and pianist Lambert Orkis. They performed the Mozart Violin Sonatas back in February 2006 in Munich. The atmosphere is quite intimate, almost feels like you're in the front row of a small concert hall. Mutter's playing is deeply expressive, and you can really sense her connection to the music. Orkis complements her beautifully, both musicians seem to understand each other's nuances perfectly. It’s interesting how the pacing shifts between playful and lyrical, capturing a whole range of emotions. The recording quality is solid, brings out the delicate nuances in their performance. Not your average concert film, if you appreciate classical music, this one provides a really rich experience.
