So 'Arsenal' is quite the gritty little piece from 2017. The duality of family loyalty and betrayal runs deep, and you can feel that tension right from the start. The pacing is a curious mix—slow at times, which builds a certain dread, but then it really hits hard during the action sequences. The performances are, well, a bit uneven—Nicolas Cage brings his usual intensity, while some other cast members don’t quite match his energy. There’s something to be said about the atmosphere, though; it’s dark and unrelenting, and you kind of feel trapped in it along with the characters. It's not your typical crime thriller, that’s for sure—there's a rawness that lingers after the credits roll.
