Asphaltgorillas is this quirky blend of action and comedy set against Berlin's gritty underbelly. The story follows Atris, a small-time crook, who’s clearly had enough of his crime boss, El Keitar. The pacing has a nice rhythm, bouncing between comedic beats and tense moments. What really sets it apart is how the story unfolds—Atris thinks he's found his way out, only to get tangled in a web of chaos. The performances are pretty solid, especially in those offbeat moments. It’s got a raw, practical feel to it that gives the film some real charm. You can see the influence of classic crime comedies here, but with a distinct modern twist.
