At The Riverbed really sinks into that eerie atmosphere of desolation. The pacing is deliberate, almost meditative at times, which lets the tension build subtly. You’ve got these two guys, stranded and on edge, and then there's the third man—his presence just oozes suspicion. It’s interesting how the film plays with themes of trust and betrayal against this vast, unforgiving desert backdrop. The performances are raw, capturing that weariness and paranoia effectively. I appreciated the practical effects that ground the story, giving it a gritty realism that contrasts with the expansive scenery. It’s definitely not your typical Western, more of a psychological dive into human relationships in crisis.
