So, 'Audition Piece' is this interesting little drama from 2013. It blends a personal crisis with the mundane task of auditioning, which is pretty unique. The tension builds nicely with her preparing for this awful commercial script, but it’s really this script that becomes a vehicle for her introspection. The pacing is contemplative, letting you sit with her emotional turmoil, which might put off some, but I found it really engaging.
