Bad Luck Love is this gritty little crime drama that really digs into the psyche of its characters. Ali's life is a mess; he's stuck in this cycle of low-level crime and heavy weed use, which creates this dense, almost suffocating atmosphere. The pacing is uneven, which somehow adds to the realism – life doesn’t always have a neat rhythm, right? The brotherly dynamic with Pulu is interesting, like they’re both trying to find some sort of escape, but they’re just dragging each other down. The performances are pretty raw, not polished, but they feel real. It's not flashy, but there's something haunting about it. You get the sense that for Ali, finding a way out is going to be a lot harder than he thinks.
