Bane Kerac's City Cat is quite an oddity from '92. It blends action and animation in a way that’s not often seen. The story takes you into the life of Carol Connor, a shy biology student whose life goes off the rails after a scratch from a lab cat and exposure to some sort of radiation. You’ve got this unique transformation where she gains agility akin to a cat; it's this strange fusion of human and feline traits. The pacing is a bit uneven, but that adds to its charm, I suppose. The practical effects, while dated, give it a certain rawness that feels nostalgic. Overall, it’s an interesting piece for collectors who appreciate the quirks of early '90s animation.
