Be Again is a fascinating little piece that lingers in the mind like an echo. The film intertwines the ethereal with the mundane, capturing the inherently liminal space of Purgatory alongside the Ganges and the Irish Sea. The atmosphere is thick with Beckettian undertones, as if each frame is a meditation on existence itself. The pacing is deliberately slow, almost dreamlike, which might not sit well with everyone, but it creates a contemplative mood. Much of the film was shot on Killiney Hill, and the natural scenery plays into the overall tone, enhancing that feeling of being suspended between worlds. The performances feel raw and introspective, adding to its distinctive character. It’s definitely a unique watch for those who appreciate the more obscure corners of cinema.
