BFFs (2014) is this quirky little comedy that plays with the idea of friendship and romance in a rather amusing way. The premise is simple yet entertaining: Kat, fresh off a breakup, finds herself at a couples retreat, thanks to her mother. But instead of sulking, she and her friend Samantha decide to fake it as a couple. The pacing is light and breezy, making it easy to digest in one sitting. The performances feel genuine, especially the chemistry between the leads, which adds a nice layer to the comedy. While it doesn't break new ground, its exploration of friendship versus romance offers some fun moments and a bit of depth amidst the laughs. The casual vibe is pretty approachable, making it a nice watch for a laid-back evening.
