There’s this really unsettling aura around her, and the way she manipulates Adam is, well, creepy in the best way. The atmosphere has this slow build, drawing you into Adam's internal struggle, and the practical effects used to depict the supernatural elements are slick and effectively eerie. It’s got a certain grindhouse vibe, too, which makes it stand out. The performances are surprisingly strong, especially in how they navigate the moral complexities, but it’s really Eve who leaves a lasting impression.
