So, 'Big Stan' is a curious blend of comedy and crime with Rob Schneider at the helm. It’s got this oddball charm, with Schneider playing a weak-willed con man facing prison. The premise is pretty unique; he hires a martial arts guru to toughen up. The pacing can be a bit uneven, but there’s something amusing about the absurdity of the situations he finds himself in. The performances are, well, classic Schneider – goofy but strangely endearing. The martial arts sequences are relatively low-budget but still fun to watch. Not exactly high art, but it’s got its moments of humor that can catch you off guard.
