Bitch on the Beach is quite a curious little comedy. It’s a blend of awkward tension and boldness, where Ga-yeong’s determination really drives the narrative. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but that just adds to the overall charm, I’d say. The dialogue has this rawness to it, capturing the messy dynamics of past relationships. Not much in terms of effects—this one leans heavily on its performances, which are interesting, especially Ga-yeong’s relentless pursuit. You can sense the underlying themes of desire and regret, and how they intertwine. It’s not your standard rom-com fare, for sure. Has a certain indie vibe that makes it stand out, even if it’s not groundbreaking.
