Blind Mole-Rat has this strange vibe that's hard to pin down. The comedy creeps in among the drama, creating a really peculiar atmosphere. The pacing, at times, feels like it's meandering, but I think that adds to its charm. The whole premise of a blind dog causing chaos in a suburban setting is intriguing, especially when you factor in the neighborly conflicts that unfold. It’s all about the mundane becoming dramatic, and those moments are actually well captured. The performances are raw and somewhat unrefined, which fits nicely with the film's indie feel. Practical effects aren’t a highlight, but they work well enough to keep you engaged. There's a sort of understated commentary on family and community that I found interesting, too.
Unique blend of comedy and drama.Explores themes of family and community tensions.Interesting indie vibe with raw performances.
