The pacing can be a bit uneven at times, but it adds to the tension. The themes of betrayal and revenge are pretty heavy, layered with a more philosophical twist about faith and redemption. Those practical effects in the action sequences? They really ground the film and give it a visceral quality. It’s not your typical war flick, that's for sure.
