You know, the whole 'mysterious mask' thing is pretty clever—it taps into that primal fear of the unknown. The backdrop of a sorority house in Idaho adds a certain creepy isolation which really works for the narrative. The pacing has these moments where it builds tension well, but then throws you into some chaotic sequences that keep you on edge. Practical effects are surprisingly well done, especially in the killer’s reveal. Performances are decent—nothing groundbreaking, but they serve the story. It all combines to create a distinct atmosphere that lingers with you, like a bad dream that just won't fade away.
