Bluf is an interesting piece from 2011 with a quirky comedic take on financial desperation. The plot centers around Paolo, who finds himself in a tight spot after being let go from his job due to a new mayor's decisions. His buddy Jimmy, with a knack for schemes, suggests a poker tournament to solve their money woes. But, surprise twist β the TV rights deal is a flop. The pacing has this nice ebb and flow, mixing moments of tension with absurd comedy. The performances, though not from big names, carry a charm that gives it a laid-back vibe. It's the type of film that scratches that itch for indie humor without trying too hard, making it enjoyable for a casual watch. Practical effects are minimal but serve the story well.
