Brotherhood of the Gun is an interesting mix of comedy and western, set in that post-Civil War era. The tone swings between lighthearted moments and the darker realities of gunfighting. There's a certain charm in how they depict Zack's struggle with his injury, and the left-handed shooting gimmick adds a unique twist. The pacing isn't rushed, allowing for character development, which is kind of refreshing for a TV movie. Performances are decent, especially the camaraderie between the characters, even if the direction leaves a bit to be desired. It's not groundbreaking or anything, but it has its quirks; the balance of humor and action gives it a distinctive feel for its time.
