Bunraku has this really funky vibe, like a blend of old-school samurai flicks and modern action. The world they’ve created is completely gun-free, which adds this unique twist to the battles. The performances are quite striking, especially the mysterious drifter and the young samurai. Their journey feels like a gritty, revenge-driven dance against this over-the-top villain and his colorful assassins. And man, the practical effects are something else—very stylized, almost like watching a live-action comic book. Pacing can be a bit uneven at times, but it builds this atmosphere that keeps you engaged. It's not your standard action fare, which is what makes it stand out.
Unique visual style reminiscent of theater.Explores themes of revenge and camaraderie.Interesting character dynamics with a diverse cast.
