BURN X is an interesting piece, no doubt. It feels like a natural evolution from the original, but with deeper storytelling. The pacing is contemplative, almost meditative at times. There’s a focus on the human aspect of firefighting—like watching these folks navigate their personal lives amidst chaos. The practical effects are raw and visceral, which really heightens the tension. You get to see some new characters who add fresh perspectives, along with familiar faces from the first film. It's less about action for the sake of action and more about the emotional weight these firefighters carry. The atmosphere is heavy, reflective, making it distinct from typical action fare.
