Cadong offers a gritty look into the psyche of two men trapped by their own choices. Danan and Drajat, both corrupted by power, share a dimly lit cell that feels almost claustrophobic. The tension between them is palpable—Danan's resigned acceptance clashes with Drajat's defiant attitude. It's a slow burn, really, allowing the atmosphere to thicken with each passing moment. The performances strike a chord, especially how the actors play off each other, revealing layers of moral ambiguity. You get this sense of confinement not just physically but in their beliefs, and that makes it distinctive. Not a lot of flashy effects here, but the raw emotion and dialogue do the heavy lifting. Definitely a character-driven piece.
