Campus Confidential, released in 2005, is one of those TV movies that mixes comedy with a light-hearted family theme. It has a very relatable school setting, where the dynamics of popularity and favoritism play a big role. Violet, the protagonist, makes a bold move to start a school paper, and in doing so, she dives into the secret lives of popular students. I find the pacing a bit uneven at times, but it captures that classic high school atmosphere pretty well. The performances, especially from the younger cast, bring a certain charm, though they can feel a bit over the top. It’s not groundbreaking or anything, but it offers a fun glimpse into the social hierarchies of adolescence.
