Cas & Dylan is this quirky mix of comedy and drama that feels very much like a road movie, but it dives deeper. The atmosphere leans heavily on a bittersweet tone, with moments of genuine humor contrasting the heavier themes of mortality and acceptance. You have a dying doctor, Cas, who’s got this plan that’s pretty dark, yet he ends up with this 22-year-old girl who's a whirlwind of chaotic energy. The performances are what really stand out; the chemistry between the two leads creates those little sparks that make the journey feel authentic. It's not your typical buddy flick, and I think the pacing does a great job of letting their relationship develop in a natural way, really letting you feel the weight of their situation without getting too heavy-handed.
