Child's Play 2 offers a slick continuation of Chucky's reign of terror, set against the backdrop of a toy factory. There's something about the way they build tension here, especially with the pacing; it just keeps you on edge. The practical effects, as always, give Chucky that tactile menace which CGI just can't replicate. The performances, particularly from Alex Vincent as Andy, add a layer of genuine fear and desperation. Plus, the way they flesh out the lore of the doll feels like a nice touch—exploring the darker side of childhood and consumerism. A solid blend of horror and humor, without losing that creepy charm. It's definitely a film that knows its audience.
