Chuchunu's Hunt is one of those oddball comedies that clumsily wades into the absurd. You've got this corporate bigwig and a shifty collection bureau guy who, in a fit of existential crisis, decide to hunt for Bigfoot. The pacing is a bit uneven, and at times it feels like it’s floundering, but that’s kind of part of its charm. The atmosphere swings between bleak office life and the wild, and it really captures that bizarre clash. The performances are all a bit over-the-top, but it works—especially in the chase sequences, where practical effects occasionally outshine the narrative coherence. It’s not everyone's cup of tea, but it’s definitely distinctive in its own quirky way.
