So, Code (2016) is this intriguing blend of mystery and sci-fi that really hooks you in with its premise. You’ve got Alex, a customer service officer, who finds himself spiraling into addiction with this App called 'Code.' The tension builds as he starts asking for more and more outrageous things, which leads him down a dark path. I found the pacing pretty compelling, keeping you on edge as he grapples with the consequences of his desires. The atmosphere is really unsettling, almost like a cautionary tale about technology. And while the performances might not land with everyone, Kang Ren Wu does a decent job of portraying that descent into obsession. It's not your typical thriller, definitely has a unique vibe to it.
