So, Cold As Soul, which came out in 2008, is this eerie little horror flick that I find has a really haunting vibe. The story revolves around a couple, Kalene and Roman, who have that classic anxious energy of new parents. They move into what seems like a charming house, but it quickly turns into this psychological exploration of fear and isolation. Kalene’s nightmares and the chilling atmosphere of the home create a palpable tension. The practical effects, though not flashy, add a layer of unsettling realism. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but it builds a distinct sense of dread as you uncover the house's dark secrets. It’s an interesting watch, especially if you're into the subtler, character-driven horrors.
