Conspiracy is one of those films that really plays with tension. The atmosphere is thick, almost claustrophobic, as our main character, a Gulf War vet, navigates this eerie small town where everyone seems to hide something. The pacing is deliberate, allowing suspense to build as he digs deeper into his friend's mysterious disappearance. What’s distinctive here is how the film explores themes of control and paranoia, reflecting the protagonist's own battles with PTSD. Performances are solid, with a rawness that adds to the story’s gritty edge. Practical effects, while not the focus, do lend a touch of realism to the more intense moments. Not the type of flick that shouts at you, but it definitely lingers in the mind.
Underrated gem with a strong focus on atmosphere.Interesting take on PTSD and isolation.Check out the practical effects in the action scenes.
