Corporate Accountability is this haunting documentary that unfolds with a slow, almost methodical pace. Filmed in Argentina, Jonathan Perel takes you on this understated journey through factories and companies, all captured from the inside of a car. The visuals are stark and raw, really pushing you to feel the weight of what these places represent. As he reads documents detailing the collusion of these businesses with the military dictatorship, the atmosphere gets heavier. It’s less about flashy edits and more about the oppressive silence of complicity. There’s a real sense of unease that lingers throughout, and it makes you reflect on the past and how the corporate world can intertwine with state terror. Definitely a film that provokes thought and conversation.
