Creature in the Woods is an interesting spin on the found footage sub-genre, you know? It feels raw and unfiltered, like you’re right there with the filmmakers. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but it really adds to the tension. The atmosphere is thick with dread, and the woods themselves almost feel like a character. The creature design, despite its limitations, uses practical effects that lend a certain authenticity, which I always appreciate. Performances from the cast are pretty solid, they sell the fear well. It's not groundbreaking, but there's something about its simplicity that sticks with you. Yeah, it has some flaws, but I think that just makes it more interesting to dissect.
