Cruz de navajas is this gritty action flick that tosses a bunch of crooks into a wild situation. You’ve got these guys escaping during a prison transfer and thinking they can lay low in a church. But there's a twist—these so-called priests are up to no good themselves! The pacing is a bit all over the place at times, but that just adds to the chaotic energy. The atmosphere is dense, mixed with moments of dark humor and tension. Practical effects are decent, especially in fight scenes, which have a raw edge to them. The performances are somewhat uneven, but that's part of the charm, I guess. It’s not your run-of-the-mill action narrative, for sure. Definitely has its quirks.
