So, 'Daddy Cool' is quite the quirky little comedy. It follows Adrien, this 40-year-old man who’s still got a bit of that Peter Pan syndrome going on. He gets dumped by Maude, who’s ready for something serious, like, family vibes and all. What does he do? Moves into a nursery home, trying to win her back—definitely a wild choice. The tone is light but has this underlying commentary on maturity and responsibility. The pacing's a bit uneven, but it has its charms, especially in the interactions with older residents. There are some practical effects used that add a nice touch of realism amidst the absurdity. Overall, it’s a distinctive take on growth and relationships, with a healthy dose of awkward humor.
