Darkness Falls has this eerie vibe that sticks with you, right? The whole concept of the Tooth Fairy as a malevolent spirit is a fresh spin, even if it feels a bit overcooked in places. The practical effects used for the ghostly figure are really something – they add a tangible sense of dread that CG just can’t capture. The pacing's a bit uneven, but it builds tension well, especially in those darkened sequences. You can sense the filmmakers were aiming for a mix of urban legend and personal horror, which gives it a distinct feel. And the lead performance by Chaney Kley brings a relatable touch as he grapples with his childhood trauma. Not groundbreaking but interesting nonetheless.
