Dead Air is an interesting blend of comedy and horror that captures the absurdity of a mundane life turned chaotic. Lester, our unremarkable protagonist, hosts a late-night radio show with the most uninspired audience. But then, out of nowhere, he starts receiving frantic calls from listeners who seem to be in real distress. It’s a wild shift from his monotonous routine, and somehow the film manages to balance laugh-out-loud moments with genuine tension. The practical effects are a nice touch, lending a gritty feel to the horror elements. It's not a polished gem, but there's something refreshing about its rawness, and the pacing keeps you engaged, almost like you’re right there in the studio with Lester.
