Practical effects used for the storm are pretty decent, especially considering the budget. The performances, though from less-known actors, carry the film quite well, bringing a raw honesty to their struggles. It’s not your typical sci-fi, more of a character-driven drama with a sci-fi twist that kind of sneaks up on you. Definitely something different to dig into if you're looking for a change of pace.
