Dealer is an interesting blend of action, adventure, and comedy, with a surprisingly light-hearted take on some dark themes. The pacing is a bit uneven; it bounces around quite a bit between tense deal moments and laugh-out-loud scenarios. The performances are not exactly Oscar-worthy, but they bring a certain charm that fits the movie's oddball nature. And it has this unique atmosphere created by its contrast between the high-stakes world of gambling and the underbelly of drug deals.
