Deep In The Wood is one of those films that really plays with the viewer's mind. It has a haunting atmosphere, mostly thanks to the eerie settings of the Dolomites during that festival. You can feel the tension build as Tommi's parents grapple with the aftermath of his disappearance. The pacing is unsettling, drawing you in slowly but keeping you on edge. The performances are quite striking—especially the mother, Linda, who seems to carry the weight of suspicion and grief. There’s a distinct exploration of identity and parental instincts that runs deep, with practical effects that heighten the chilling moments without overshadowing the story. It’s that kind of film that sticks with you long after the credits roll.
Atmospheric thriller set in the Dolomites.Focus on psychological tension and family dynamics.Strong performances, especially from the mother character.
