Shenxiu's character resonates; her sadness is palpable, and you really feel her internal struggle. The pacing is interesting – it allows moments to breathe, to linger, especially in the quieter scenes. The underwater chef Nanhe adds a quirky touch, injecting humor and creativity. I’d say the practical effects and animation style stand out, not just the usual CGI. Overall, it’s distinctive for how it marries adventure with a heavy emotional core.
